1/6/17 Flat Plan

I decided to use a program I am much more comfortable with to produce my flat plan, Microsoft  Publisher. After brainstorming with Hannah, we came up with flat plan formats that are similar to each others that we believe will best provide our information to our readers. I decided on what articles my issue with report on and I have included 2 page spreads, 4 page spreads, and a 6 page spread for my cover story. I decided that the article I am writing will not be the cover story but instead I will write the first 2 page spread that my magazine will feature. I still need to continue my research on the basics of creating a magazine and I need too grasp an understanding of how long a typical magazine article would be. In conversing with Mr. Elsbree he told Hannah and I that about 50% of the magazine should be made up of Ads. My flat plan can be seen below. - Hope Bumgarner
